Britain’s Secret FUKUSHIMA – Report by Chris Everard

Sellafield: Britain's secret 'Fukushima'

If you’re going to read and share anything today – then I suggest you put your feet up and read this – it affects all of us – meaning the entire human population…  Report by CHRIS EVERARD

THE MOST DANGEROUS PLACE ON PLANET EARTH: Photographs have been passed to me which I am publishing here, and may get in trouble, but I have to show you what has been going on behind the closed doors of the NUCLEAR INDUSTRY… There is a swimming pool so radioactive you would die if you swam in it for just a couple of minutes. This pool is called B30 and is situated [look at map] in the north of England – it threatens all the sea life in the Irish Sea, North Sea, and all peoples in Scandinavia and norther Europe – and contains enough material to extinguish ALL LIFE ON PLANET EARTH…

Below the water’s surface is a legacy which Her Majesty and all her fine ministers have lumbered on us, our children and all our great, great, great grandchildren for the next 25,000 years…

The toxic radioactive material in this pool has degraded into a sludge held in rusting containers which have been there since the late 1950s. The pool was ‘decommissioned’ in 1986 – but as we all know, you cannot sweep 1.5 tons of plutonium under a carpet and ‘decommissioning’ radioactivity is impossible.

The sludge and spent radioactive fuel rods are so unstable it will explode if come into contact with air. Irish ecologist Pat Flannagan and journalists at THE ECOLOGIST have also published these photos – and I am horrified at what they show.

Leaked information and photos tell us that the B30 pool at Sellafield nuclear plant is so lethal that seagulls must be shot if they land on it to prevent them becoming radiation carriers. Pool B30 is basically a massive radioactive lake in Cumbria and is the size of three Olympic swimming pools. Even Sellafield bosses are not sure what lurks in its depths.

Sellafield's B30 pool was 'decommissioned' in 1986 - but you cannot 'decommission' radio activity - the contents of the pool will stay toxic for the next 25,000 years

What they do know is that it contains around 1.3 metric tonnes [officially] of plutonium, which is the most deadly substance ever created. AND THE POOL HAS CRACKS AND IS LEAKING.

Millions of our tax money is being used to build an outer containment wall. Perhaps the leaks explain all the cancer deaths of children on nearby beaches?

Beneath its murky waters lie hundreds of spent nuclear fuel rods from Magnox reactors which were dumped there in the 1960s. But despite the passage of time the rods are still so hot they would explode if taken out of the water.

Sellafield bosses have been so concerned about B30 they have commissioned a special submarine with video cameras to try to find out what’s beneath the surface.

A source told ecologist Pat Flannagan: “This is the cesspool of the world. No one knows for sure what is in there. No records were kept but there is more plutonium in there than almost anywhere else in the world. It was originally meant to store spent nuclear fuel, but it became a dump for everything in the 1960s and 70s. Radiation levels are very high all around the tank at workers can only stay in the area safely for less than half-an-hour before they get their safe daily dose…

“The company has been told to clean it up but that is going to be a major task. There are worries about the containment walls and video images confirm this. There is seepage, which is worrying but that’s to be expected after 50 years.”

After a serious accident forced the Magnox reprocessing plant to close down in 1974 fuel was stored underwater far too long. This led to serious corrosion to cans containing the fuel resulting in increased radiation levels and poor visibility. The lake was decommissioned in 1986.

The new containment wall is being built outside the main wall to hold the liquid. If the main wall gave way, we would have a massive ongoing thermal reaction happening, with multiple explosions. The sludge would continue to heat and start to melt into the earth and then explode again on contact with the Water Table.

There have been inumerable accidents and deaths at this nuclear nightmare on the Cumbrian coast. Following one particularly nasty fire, the queen swiftly went on a holiday to the TREETOPS PALACE in far away Royal South Africa, leaving the BBC to allay any fears of the northern English families who were dumbed down to the point where it took years of effort by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament to actually educate people that Windscale was a bomb factory and that it should be closed down.

Following the birth of many deformed babies, smear stories pasted into the northern editions of tabloids by Her Majesty’s Intelligence Service, MI5, luridly remarked that the parents of kids dying of blood cancer near Windscale (which was soon given a PR make-over and renamed ‘Sellafield’) were ‘benefit scoungers’ and ridiculously opaque reports commissioned by HM Gov. tried to convince bribed journalists that ‘leukemia clusters’ existed EVERYWHERE – not just in the towns around Sellafield…  Watch NUCLEAR NIGHTMARE on The Enigma Channel right now.  Support investigative journalism.
